In the flesh

I have heard hundreds of people call chant and polyphony angelic, and yes, I am convinced that the holy angels participate alongside the singers when the liturgy is offered with obedience , excellence and purity of intention! But I do want to bring to light that musicians are in the flesh, they need dental care, rest, chiropractors, to deal with a flooded basement, mortgage payments, educational needs of their children, etc. There is a trend to not want to pay for the music. That is akin to not want to say I love you, only put it in print. How would that go with your spouse? To God we should always offer our best and the work is always fresh and anew, and must remain so. Have compassion and support musicians devoted to this great act of love, they are in the flesh, you pay for the human being who needs to survive in order to do his or her work.
